3. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and we have no plans to. We do not rent, trade, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We share information only with the service providers that make our business run, and only as much as each one needs:
| Provider | What it does for us | What it may receive |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Analytics, Ads, reCAPTCHA) | Website analytics, advertising measurement, spam protection | Website activity, device and browser data, click identifiers, and whether a job was booked |
| Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) | Advertising measurement for our social ads | Website activity and conversion events, transmitted in hashed (scrambled) form where possible |
| CallRail | Call tracking and recording | Your phone number, call metadata, and call recordings |
| Stripe | Payment processing and invoicing | Your name, email, and payment details |
| Supabase | Our customer and job database | Your contact information and job records |
| Google Workspace | Our business email | Any correspondence you send us |
We may also disclose information when we are legally required to — in response to a subpoena, court order, or lawful government request — or when necessary to protect our rights, our property, or someone’s safety. If our business is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising
Our website uses cookies and tracking pixels, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. These help us understand how people find and use our site, and let us measure which advertisements lead to actual jobs. Some of this data is also sent to Google and Meta from our servers rather than from your browser.
You can control this:
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings
- Google advertising personalization: myadcenter.google.com
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Meta ad preferences: available in your Facebook or Instagram account settings
Blocking cookies may cause parts of our website to stop working correctly, including our contact forms.
5. Call Recording
Calls to and from our business line may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, and accurate record-keeping of what was quoted and agreed to.
New York is a one-party consent state, meaning a call may lawfully be recorded with the consent of one party to the conversation. By calling us, or by accepting a call from us, you consent to that recording. If you do not want to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will stop the recording, or you may contact us by email or text instead.
6. Text Messages
When you give us your phone number — through our website, over the phone, or in person — you agree that we may contact you by text message about your inquiry, your quote, your scheduled job and arrival window, your dumpster delivery or pickup, photos related to your job, your invoice, and a review request after the work is complete. These are service messages.
Promotional texts are separate. We send occasional offers by text only to customers who have separately opted in to marketing messages (for example, by checking a marketing box on our website or telling us yes). You can opt in or out of offers at any time without affecting service messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by job. You can stop all text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us at (607) 600-9005.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We use text-messaging platform providers, phone carriers, and other vendors solely to deliver our messages to you; they may not use your information for their own marketing. We may disclose information to satisfy legal, regulatory, or governmental requests, avoid liability, or protect our rights or property.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep customer and job records for as long as needed to run the business and to satisfy tax, accounting, insurance, and legal obligations — generally seven years after your last job. Call recordings are retained on a shorter schedule set by our call-tracking provider. Website analytics data is retained according to the settings in the analytics tools we use. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.
8. How We Protect Information
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, consistent with our obligations under the New York SHIELD Act. These include encrypted connections to our website, access controls and role-based permissions on our internal systems, and limiting employee access to only the information each person needs to do their job.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your private information occurs, we will notify you as required by New York law.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep for tax, legal, or accounting reasons
- Stop contacting you by text, email, or phone
Email office@morsejunk.com or call (607) 600-9005 and we will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s law; contact us and we will honor those rights where they apply to us.
10. Children
Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to Other Websites
Our website may link to sites we do not control, such as our Google Business Profile, review sites, or our payment processor. This Policy does not apply to those sites. Read their policies before providing information to them.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continuing to use our website or services after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
